At Heimatgut, we love natural snacks – and we love design that performs perfectly not only on screen but also on the shelf and at the POS. Do you love the mix of creative design and the precision that truly makes a layout shine? Then you've come to the right place.
Your focus with us: 70% Creation & 30% Technical Support
You are our "all-rounder" with an eye for detail. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the majority of our visual communication, while also being the reliable anchor when it comes to final artwork and print data preparation.
Your tasks with us:
- Brand & Campaigning (70%): You design image and trade ads, advertising materials, and eCoupons (e.g., Payback). You develop newsletters and digital assets (banners, campaign graphics) and ensure that our CI guidelines are always met.
- Visualizing: You create realistic high-end mockups for new products and POS displays in Photoshop – so our ideas come to life even before printing.
- Production & Maintenance (30%): You independently check and prepare print data for various print products. You maintain product images, claims, and comply with trade specifications (e.g., EDEKA data verification).
- Support: You support our team with packaging design when needed and ensure consistent brand presence across all channels.
What you bring:
- Expertise: A degree in graphic/communication design or training as a media designer.
- Tool-Stack: You master the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) blind.
- Digital First: Figma is not a foreign word to you, but your go-to tool for efficient design. You love design systems and understand how to build scalable and consistent design elements.
- Eye for detail: Whether high-end retouching in Photoshop or a flawless print file – you stand for absolute precision.
- Mindset: You work highly independently, show initiative, and maintain organization and overview even with parallel projects. "Good enough" is not in your vocabulary.
This would be a "nice to have":
- You already have experience in print and are confident in handling color profiles, bleed, and technical specifications.
- First contact points with packaging design or retail specifications.
- You are curious about AI tools and know how to use them effectively to optimize workflows or designs.
