Heimatgut is a multi-brand company for natural organic snacks. With our brands Heimatgut, Krümel, Heartful, and NovaSource, we are represented in supermarkets, organic markets, drugstores, D2C online shops, and internationally. Our D2C business is growing, but our retention marketing still has room for improvement, and that's where you come in!

What awaits you

You will take end-to-end responsibility for our customer lifecycle marketing — email, WhatsApp, loyalty, on-site personalization. In short: everything that happens after someone has touched our brand for the first time.

Your tasks with us:

  • Klaviyo Ownership — you are in charge of our email and WhatsApp flows. Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Second Purchase, Winback, Replenishment. You build, optimize, iterate, and A/B test continuously.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution — weekly newsletters for Heimatgut and Krümel, including segmentation, copy, scheduling, deliverability monitoring.
  • WhatsApp Marketing — set up Chatarmin flows and broadcasts, establish channel preference logic between email and WhatsApp.
  • Segmentation & CRM Logic — RFM segmentation, engagement tiers, buyer cohorts. You decide who receives which message when.
  • Loyalty & Reviews — review collection (Judge.me, Trustpilot), referral program, loyalty concept for repeat buyers.
  • On-Site Personalization — Klaviyo Back-in-Stock, pop-ups, cart flows, targeted product recommendations.
  • Reporting & Analysis — monthly retention dashboard (RPR, flow revenue share, CLV, repeat rate, deliverability). You explain numbers, not just metrics.
  • SEO Basics for the Shop — meta descriptions, product texts, structured data. Not full-time SEO, but proficient.
  • Interface — close collaboration with our designer (in-house), shop developer (in-house), performance marketer, and management.

What you bring:

  • Must-haves — at least 2–3 years of experience as CRM Manager / Retention Manager / Email Marketing Manager at a D2C brand, e-commerce agency, or e-commerce company. You know Klaviyo inside out.
  • Shopify — you are comfortable in the admin area, understand integrations, tags, meta fields.
  • WhatsApp Marketing — experience with Charles, Chatarmin, or a comparable tool.
  • Data & Analytics — you can read GA4 and Shopify Analytics fluently. Excel / Google Sheets are your second home.
  • Copywriting Skills — you can write a subject line that achieves a 40% open rate and a post-purchase email that makes people smile.
  • Native-level German — because you write our newsletters. Fluent English for tools and documentation.
  • Proactivity — we are not looking for an executor, but for someone who takes ownership and identifies problems before we even notice them.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the organic / food / FMCG sector
  • Basic HTML / CSS knowledge for email templates
  • Experience with loyalty tools (Smile.io, LoyaltyLion) or review tools (Judge.me, Trustpilot, Loox)
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads (you don't have to do it, but be able to talk to the performance marketer at eye level)
